Our Miniature Indoor Garden Series Event is just around the bend, so we thought a preview of what's in store might inspire you to join us next Saturday, February 9th, from 2-3 for our 2nd workshop of the day entitled "Little Landscapes: Creating Terrariums."
I don't know about you, but I get a mean case of the winter blues when I can't dig in the dirt all season long, so making these sweet little landscapes are just what I need for a pick-me-up. A recent study in the Netherlands suggests that gardening can fight stress even better than other relaxing leisure activities; why not try creating an indoor garden and see how good you feel?

I started with these "ingrediants" for my terrarium:
- small pebbles
- activated carbon
- moss
- soil
- a few small plants, one low-growing, one bushy, one with a little height
- a few larger rocks for decoration
- a fish bowl for planting in
- a stick for poking holes in the soil to plant
Ta-da! Hey, don't be jealous! Call us at (610) 929-5049 to sign up for our workshop to create your own dazzling work of art. Hope to see you then!
